It’s a rainy Saturday in Atlanta. Last night I went to the Wish x Play Clothes Fitted release party with some friends. Clipse was there. I got an autographed poster for the dorm. Good times. After the party we went to eat at Taco Mac in midtown, then headed over to my friend’s dorm and chilled for a bit.
I don’t know if I let people know but I broke up with my girlfriend two weeks ago. It feels weird being single again and it was hard at first, but everything seems to be working out.
Spent the night on the phone with my best friend.
This morning I took my sister shopping. It was cool to hang out with her cuz we don’t get to see each other that much. We headed over to Lenox and I hit up the usual spots (Standard, MetroPark, Urban Outfitters). I’ve never been to the mall before noon on a Saturday. Its real chill. Not many people are out so you can shop without a lot of confusion around you. I picked up some new Dunnys at Metropark. I was contemplating a nice leather jacket but couldn’t force myself to blow that much money. We left Lenox and drove down Peachtree to Standard’s main store. I wanted to purchase another pair of Air Structures but they didn’t have my size. I ended up getting the blue Nike Dunk Low Splatters. More pics to come later.
Went to my brother’s football game in the rain….
Now I’m at home. I’ll head back to school tomorrow but I just want to relax this evening. I have a couple of copies of GQ I haven’t read yet so that should make the day enjoyable.

I’m in the library again. It’s Tuesday morning and I feel like I should still be in bed. I have class at ten. Labor Day Weekend was relaxing. I got to see my girlfriend for the first time in three weeks. Long-distance relationships are tough. I didn’t think it would be this hard, but yesterday I was feeling really down. This week I have a lot on the schedule but I’m planning to do some work on the Tech Sneaker club. Maybe I’ll get around to putting up some fliers etc. I’ve now listened to the Kid Cudi album about three times. I don’t care what a lot of people are saying. It’s amazing. Cudi didn’t disappoint. I’m def going to buy it when it actually drops. Tumblr meet-up is this up-coming weekend. I can’t wait!!

It’s 10:00 am and I’m sitting in the Georgia Tech Library [4th floor]. It’s raining…again. Georgia has been in a drought for what seems like 3 years and as soon as I get to college the rain man decides to release everything he’s been holding back. O well… That’s my luck. Thursdays are my slow days. I only have 3 classes. Right now I’m thinking about this club I want to start a Tech. It’ll be focused on urban fashion and culture. However, in order to start it I have to write a constitution and go through some other procedures. I’m really excited about it. Attention: you are witnessing the birth of greatness.

Complex Magazine's 50 Best Nike Dunks
This is your captain, Louvature, speaking. Complex.com just posted a feature on the 50 Best Nike Dunks of All Time. This pair, the highly coveted, “Wu-Tang Clan” Dunks was ranked humber one. The list included some other sneakerhead favorites like the “East vs. West Gucci” Dunks(29), but on the overall was SIGNIFICANTLY lacking. Some of the most desired/famous dunks of all time were left off. To name a few: “Tiffanys”, “Unkle Dunks”, and the extrememly rare “Heiniken Dunk”. Complex gave some of the best colorways the shaft. The fact that multiple Nylon dunks were included in the top ten upsets me. Complex dropped a fat one on this list. I demand a recount!

The Louvature Dynasty Continues
You should already know me by now. My name is David Byas-Smith, but you can call me Louvature. I’ve been in the blogosphere for over two years. My accomplishments include the SNEAKERLOG and Louvature Is My Hero…and now the Louvature Report. This blog is a little more personal than LIMH. I plan to write more, post less. I hope you enjoy it.
